We are excited to announce we’ll be using Mobile Bidding at this year’s Mardi Gras Ball Silent Auction. Mobile Bidding enables some great new features:
- You can browse and bid on items in the days leading up to the Ball. We are really close to launching the online Silent Auction. If you’ve already purchased tickets, we will let you know when it’s up. You can also follow us on social media for updates: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.
- You will receive notifications if you’ve been outbid, and you can immediately counter.
- You can set a maximum bid and let the system bid for you.
- You can bid even if you can’t make it to the Ball! Well, at least for the Silent Auction. Mobile bidding isn’t supported for the Live Auction. However, if you can’t make the Ball and want to bid on the Live Auction, contact us. We have some options.
So be sure to bring your phone to the Ball! Mobile Bidding means no more paper bid sheets. Instead, you’ll bid electronically, and your phone is probably the easiest way to do that. Not comfortable using your phone? No worries. We will have plenty of volunteers there to help. They can even bid for you. We will also help you get setup during check-in.
