Celebrating 30 Years Of Service

On December 4, 1988, there was a Grand Opening Celebration as our building opened for the first time. Today, Community Conscience’s Human Services Center houses 13 non-profits rent-free. This savings in rent has enabled them to keep their doors open, providing exceptional programs to hundreds of thousands in need over the past three decades.

Our 27th annual Mardi Gras Ball will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019, at the Hyatt Regency Westlake.

Festivities begin at 5:00 PM with a champagne reception, hors d’oeuvres, entertainment by the Riverboat Dixie Jazz Band, and the silent auction. A wonderful dinner will follow, along with a live auction, King & Queen recognition, and dancing to Fifth Avenue Entertainment.

The Mardi Gras Ball is the largest fund-raiser for Community Conscience. Your support ensures RENT-FREE office space for 13 Human Service non-profits who provide assistance to those in need.

The Ball is expected to be attended by more than 250 community leaders, guests, and media. Together we will celebrate your commitment to the health and wellness of this community.

Dedicated To Those In Need

Our mission is to ensure public assistance and welfare programs are available and accessible for those in need of such services in the Conejo Valley and surrounding areas.

Thirteen social service agencies operate rent-free at our 22,000 square-foot building providing them with approximately $250,000 in savings per year they can otherwise use to deliver services. Our tenants include such groups such as the Conejo Free Clinic, Hospice of the Conejo Valley, Senior Concerns, and Youth Employment Services. One government social service agency is also a tenant – County of Ventura – Human Services Agency.
