Community Conscience Trustee, Ed Sahakian, to participate in Nautica Malibu Triathlon to support Children’s Hospital Los Angeles!

Ed Sahakian, Community Conscience Trustee, accepted the challenge of participating in the fundraising efforts surrounding the Nautica Malibu Triathlon. The event takes place on September 16, 2012, and he committed to raise at least $1,500 for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in partnership with the event.

He will be joined by hundreds of other triathletes who love kids and want to help make a difference.

Children’s Hospital LA does amazing work with caring for children and working to find a cure for many of the terrible diseases that afflict our children. Please partner with me in helping support this great organization. Join me in my efforts to support Nautica Malibu Triathlon!

Note from Ed:

I have some great news to share. First California Bank has agreed to match my fundraising efforts dollar for dollar. That means for each dollar you give, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles gets two. I am closing in on my goal and want to thank those of you that have shared your words of support and also opened your wallets for this great organization. Many of you have shared stories about a child or family member that has been touched by Children’s Hospital. These stories are helping me to stay focused and training hard.

With your help I hope to reach $1,500 raised by next Thursday, September 13, and have First California Bank bring that total to $3,000 or more for CHLA.

I have included the link below so that you can see our progress as a team as well as make a contribution if you are moved to do so.

Thanks again to all of you. Ed S.
