Interface Children and Family Services Program

Interface Children and Family Services to start new program in their offices in the Human Services Center “Under One Roof” building in Thousand Oaks.

We are preparing the Interface suite to provide a new evidence based treatment to parents of children of young children through age 5 years at the center. The treatment model is called Positive Parenting Program, aka Triple P and is offered in both group and individual formats. We have been providing this in other areas of the county to parents of school age children, but this year we’ve added the younger years as well. This program is offered at no cost to families. We are funded by Ventura County Behavioral Health through the Mental Health Services Act (Proposition 63).

Fifteen social service agencies operate rent-free at our 22,000 square-foot building, providing them with approximately $300,000 in savings per year they can otherwise use to deliver services.

Each month  those agencies serve nearly 80,000 people annually.
