Community Conscience requests nominations for a prospective King and/or Queen of the 2025 Mardi Gras Ball.

The Trustees of Community Conscience will choose the King and Queen.  The honorees will be recognized for their outstanding volunteer service at the annual Mardi Gras Ball on March 1, 2025.

The Community Conscience Board will determine the honorees using the following criteria:

  • Length and extent of nominee service to the community
  • Degree to which the nominee’s services have made a meaningful impact on the lives of others
  • Dedication and caring for the services provided

One of Community Conscience’s goals is to foster courtesy, respect, and human dignity in the dealings of basic assistance agencies. The individual nominated should exemplify this goal.

Nominations should be received at our office in person at 80 E. Hillcrest Drive Suite 110, Thousand Oaks, or by email to 
robin@communityconscience.org  – no later than November 05, 2025.

Fifteen social service agencies operate rent-free at our 22,000 square-foot building, providing them with approximately $300,000 in savings per year they can otherwise use to deliver services.

Each month  those agencies serve nearly 80,000 people annually.
